How to fix your Lawn

 Step 1: Proper Mowing

• ⅓ rule

Step 2: Proper Watering 

• One time a week, 1 full inch

Step 3: Proper Fertilizing - Want the easy method? 

• Apply milorganite 4 times per year. 

• A week or two before every holiday, birthday party, etc, so when family and friends are over the lawn is looking sharp!

Step 4: Preventing  and Killing Weeds

• Apply Step 1 (crabgrass preventer) when the forsythia blooms (or as soon after as you can). 

• Pre-emergent

• Chickweed, Crabgrass

• Weed B Gon Max (kill crabgrass)

• Wait a few weeks

• Weed B Gon (kill clover)

• A few weeks later

• Nutsedge killer (nutsedge)

Step 5: Overseed in the fall. 

• throw the seed down 

• water it. I prefer applying a layer of peat moss on top.
